New yoga studio seeks its place in Battle Creek
Nancy Lassen was lying on the floor. The serene sound of woodwind instruments and the yellow hue of candlelight flooded the room. As Lassen demonstrated a few yoga poses, the om symbol stood tall on a shelf, overlooking the studio. "It's kind of a divine symbol of oneness," Lassen, 49, said.

Martila Sanders is happy to sing the blues
Martila Sanders, 29, has a split personality. She looked normal enough. She sat in her work clothes, fresh out of a weekend shift, nursing a mug of coffee.
